Welcome to my first blog post.

I have many hobbies, but writing is not among them. However, my marketing adviser insists that it’s an important part of modern-day business, so here we go. It’s likely to be a bumpy ride.

My intention going forward is to remind my clients and followers of important dates and, hopefully, educate on the importance of and tricks to keeping good books for the health of your business (and sanity).

Of course, at the end of the day, what I would like most is for you to pay me to help you with what most consider the mind-numbing drudgery of bookkeeping. I enjoy the puzzle of making the numbers fit together into a tidy snapshot of your company; so if you can’t bear the thought of spending your time crunching numbers, remembering IRS due dates, and reconciling those bank statements that have piled up on your desk or in your inbox, reach out and let me take that off your plate. If you want to keep your own books but just need help getting QuickBooks set up, I can help with that, too.

Whether or not you choose to engage my services, I hope you all get some benefit from these posts. I will try to stay on task, but don’t be surprised to see the occasional recipe or dog pic.
